A5 - BHUTAN
Kunio Saito,A52VE (JA8VE), had to leave Bhutan on Sep 3 due to health
problems. He intended to stay until March 2009.

FM - MARTINIQUE, NA-107
Philippe (ex F8EFU) will live on Martinique (NA-107, DIFO FM-001) for
a longer period of time. After hurricane "Dean" he has no telephone or
internet at the moment but his radio is working and he is active as
FM5LD mostly in CW on 30m. He is running 50 watts into a dipole and
plans to put up more wires in the near future. Please send your QSLs
via the FM bureau or direct to Philippe Schlegel, Caserne Redoute,
BP 616, 97261 Fort de France, Martinique, via France.

FO - CLIPPERTON ISLAND, NA-011
TX5C will be the callsign of the DXpedition to Clipperton scheduled for
March 2008. The radio amateurs will be accompanied by a scientific team
which is going to study the ecosystem of Clipperton.

H40 - TEMOTU ISLANDS, OC-178
Mike,KM9D, and Jan,KF4TUG, have left Wallis and Futuna and are now on
their way to Tikopia Island (OC-178) in the Temotu province. Their call
will be H40MY but is not known how long they are ging to stay there.
Their QSL manager is OM2SA.

HV - VATICAN CITY
IK0FVC has got the permission to use the callsign HV50VR, "VR" stands
for Vatican Radio. Vatican Radio celebrates its 50th anniversary at the
moment and the callsign was first aired on Sep 27. Activities can be
expected in the upcoming major contests. Unfortunately the QSL manager
IW0GPN confirms only direct, but the logs will be uploaded to the LoTW.
IK0FVC has also put a new station on the air with HV6SP.
QSL also via IK0FVC, only direct and not very reliably so some rumours
say he collects bucks instead of stamps.

T6 - AFGHANISTAN
Ross (ex VK1UN, VK8UN, 4W6UN, EX1UN) is now active as T61AA from the
city of Faizabad. The length of his stay is not known but he was heard
on 20m after 1200 UTC and on 17m after 0500 and 1330 UTC.
T6 is the new official prefix for Afghanistan, YA calls are not issued
anymore. The QSL route for T61AA is via Ross Ballantyne, PO Box 99,
World Trade Centre, Victoria 8005, Australia.

TK - CORSICA, EU-014
Mike,TK/DL3VTA, and Wolfgang,TK/DL1DVP, will be active from
Corsica (EU-014) in SSB/CW/RTTY/PSK31/63 from Oct 7-14.
QSLs direct or via bureau to their homecalls.

VK9/L - LORD HOWE ISLAND, OC-004; VK9/N - NORFOLK ISLAND, OC-005
Jack,HB9TL/VK6CTL, will be QRV from Lord Howe Island (OC-004) signing
VK9CLF in SSB on 80-10m from Oct 8-18.
After that he will activate Norfolk Island (OC-005) as VK9CNF from
Oct 19-25. QSL cards should be sent direct via HB9QR.

ZL7 - CHATHAM ISLANDS, OC-038
Jacek,ZL7/SP5EAQ, Wojciech,ZL7/SP9PT, Marek,ZL7/SP9BQJ, and
Jozef,SP9-31029, will be active in SSB, CW and RTTY from Oct 5-18.

3B7 - ST BRANDON ISLANDS, AF-015
3B7C went QRT on Sep 25 at 0331 UTC. After loggging 135.500 QSOs 3B7C
is ranking third after D68C and 3B9C in the list of the DXpeditions
with the most QSOs. Here is the band and mode breakdown:
10m - 7.958 30m - 13.460 Phone: 51.754

3C - EQUATORIAL-GUINEA, AF-010
Fred,KH7Y, Vic,EA5YN, Luis,EA5BRE, and Elmo,EA5BYP, will show up as
3C7Y from Equatorial-Guinea from Oct 5-14 and the team states this is
the first activity since five years. The team will be active in CW/SSB/
RTTY on all bands from Bioko Island (AF-010) and one station per mode
shall be active all around the clock. They have beams for 6/10/15/20m,
a rotary dipole for 40m and normal dipoles for the other bands.

5H - TANZANIA
Pat,W8FV, is going to put up his expedition tent on the southern lake-
front of Lake Victoria from where he will be QRV as 5H9PD from Oct 6-9.

7Q - MALAWI
Ely,IN3VZE, is spending his holidays on the southwestern lakefront of
Lake Malawi. Listen for 7Q7CE on all bands from Oct 4-25.

9Q - DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO

HB9SPACE will be active during the World Space Week from Oct 4-10.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of astronautics there will be special
activity by the Swiss astronaut Claude Nicollier,HB9CN, from the museum
of military aviation "Clin d'Ailes" in Payerne on Oct 6.

EU-010, GM/MM, Outer Hebrides: The Workington & District ARC plans to become
active from Barra Island signing MS0WRC from Oct 6-12. They also intend
to make short trip to the islands Vatersay and Eriskay.

OC-142/VK4/QLD State Centre Group; OC-160/VK4/QLD State North Group,
OC-171/VK4/QLD State South Group: Chris,DK2CRN (VK2AMB/4), and

Fraser Isl./OC-142 (WLOTA LH 2976), Heron Isl./OC-142, Dunk Isl./OC-171
