There is a protocol for it too.

Mark doesn't want this group eliminated. He can't post on QRZ, is not
welcome on the moderated group and has nowhere else to go to crap on the

You might want to go look at the newsgroup comp.software.year-2000
before you talk about that process too much. It was formed around
1997 to discuss software issues with the rollover from 1999 to 2000.
Last time I looked, that was a few years ago.

Of course that ng is in the Big 8 hierarchy also.
