Default 1ST Request For Discussion: rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine

REQUEST FOR DISCUSSION (RFD)
UNmoderated group rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-
whine-whine

This is a formal Request For Discussion (RFD) for the creation of the
UNmoderated Usenet newsgroup, rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-
whine.

NEWSGROUPS LINE: rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine

rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine.whine Whining about why
postings are rejected from rec.radio.amateur.moderated (Unmoderated)

RATIONALE: rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine

rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine is an unmoderated
version of rec.radio.amateur.moderated. The
rec.radio.amateur.moderated newsgroup is chartered to discuss
anything
related to amateur radio. As a moderated newsgroup, the moderation
team first reviews the posting and then allows it to pass to the
moderated newsgroup upon approval.

Typically when an author has a posting rejected by the
rec.radio.amateur.moderated moderation team, the author immediately
spams the remaining rec.radio.amateur.* newsgroups with the original
post, copy of the rejection notice, and a rant about how "unfair" the
moderation team is.

Creating rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine will provide a
centralized newsgroup for whining and make it easier for complainers
to form a support-group for their victimization at the hands of the
rec.radio.amateur.moderated moderation team. Such a newsgroup will
allow them to feel empowered against the oppression imposed upon them
by the rec.radio.amateur.moderated moderators.

In addition, rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine will
provide an outlet by which Abnormal Psychology PhD candidates can
select candidates for their case studies in paranoia. Abnormal
psychology studies persistent, abnormal, and irrational fears of a
specific thing (such as rec.radio.amateur.moderated) or situation (a
rejected posting to rec.radio.amateur.moderated) that compels one to
avoid it, despite the awareness and reassurance that it is not
dangerous.

CHARTER:

rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine is for the whining
related to rejected postings from rec.radio.amateur.moderated.

The following are examples of topical content:

* Reposting of messages rejected by the rec.radio.amateur.moderated
moderation team, including the reason for said rejections, along with
a line-by-line "rebuttal" of the rejection.

* Whining about how the moderators in rec.radio.amateur.moderated
are 'biased' because they all have amateur extra class amateur radio
licenses.

* Complaints of "censorship"

* Claims of how the rec.radio.amateur.moderation moderators are 'out
to get you' or have threatened to murder you.

MODERATION POLICY: rec.radio.amateur.moderated.whine-whine-whine

None. This is an UNmoderated newsgroup.
