It is to a large part old boy. Ask the Japs what happened when they did
their sneak attack. Ask Germany how it liked those B17 daylight raids.

I guess the Vietnamese and Somalis whipped yer arses because you just
weren't ****ed off enough eh?

I don't really see where the Vietnamese and the Somalies 'whipped our
arses'. What I remember happening is the US Government WIMPED OUT before
we won. Neither situation was worth a damn. But don't blame the soldiers
for the actions of NIXON, KISSENGER and CLINTON.

Dan, as I recall, Nixon didn't open up Vietnam, and Clinton didn't
open up Somalia. I don't think Kissinger had much to do with either.
But he did figure out how to get OPEC organized, have an oil embargo,
then jack up the price of oil so they could buy US armaments.

Of course they didn't OPEN UP VN or Somalia. I was refering to who ENDED it
and HOW. As for Kissinger he was a MAJOR part of how we wimped out to the
North Vietnamese, allowed them to keep troops in the South while we turned
tail and let the South Vietnamese swing at the end of the rope we tied.

No arguement of Mr. K. and his deals later on.

Well, it was 1973 and with the withdrawal from VN, we had to start
selling arms to someone.

If the question is "was I in VN" the answer is yes.
