Its about time.

Might as well, NCI and the ARRL are working on giving licenses to the
retarded masses anyway.

Thats my point, let the Knuckle Draggers have HF, then they can compete with
BPL. I mean lets face it, NCI and the other Morrons claim that all the Tech
whizzards are just waiting to get into Ham Radio, so let them deal with BPL.

Note that WD2XEN will be operating in 144-148 Mhz in Dallas too.

For the destruction of the ARS. Bruice gets, ahem, exited when he

Sorry, but you got it the wrong way around. 'Old' Class A-amateurs (HF)
don't even know what BPL is. They are (in your terms) the 'retarded masses'.
Modern Class 'B' amateurs (technically very proficient) know what BPL is and
that also the 30 MHz bands are to be protected.

Not that I am not interested in HF though! All amateur bands need to be
protected.

Stating that BPL does not matter anymore because no-coders are allowed to
operate on HF as well, means that you don't care about radio amateurism.
Otherwise, you'd better fight hard to keep no-coders of the HF-bands instead
of complaining about them when they do enter the HF-bands.

If you really feel that the HF bands are 'lost' because of no-coders
entering them, please give up your HF-licence and move on to another hobby.
You lost your perspective on radio amateurism.
