I seem to recall a "CB" class of operation IN the UHF region way back when.
Long before MURS and such came into play. Actually I think the new stuff
such as MURS replaced the UHF CB band. Maybe he is confusing the two bands?
IF NOT, WOW....... that is a task and a half. As others have stated,
legality will be out the window. Lou


Big difference.

"UHF CB" is known as GMRS, or General Mobile Radio Service. It's in the
462-467MHz range.

MURS is five discreet channels in the 151-156MHz range, or "VHF".
