no place (city, county, state, ZIP) listed for last benefit, his
Social Security card was issued in Missouri, and his passing was
verified by Death Certificate submitted to Social Security (probably
by his survivors to receive the lump sum burial benefit). IIRC Dick
retired from the Missouri State Police communications division, so
it would be plausible that he did not receive a retirement benefit
from Social Security.

This all appears to fall into place. We'll miss him.

I will remember Dick as the guy who talked tough, but in the next breath,
would offer the proverbial "shirt off his back" to help you. This is
evidenced by many e-mails answering my curious questions and culminating
with his QSL on my wall.

We will miss him. (Hope he and N0BK are laughin' at us poor slobs down
here.)
