I sold the fixed-up Viking 2 and VFO a year or two later, and moved away

that QTH in 1999. Someday I'll get back on 160.


Although I've only managed US stations, try the ARRL 160 meter contest in
January. All I've ever been able to put up for it is a random wire about 6
feet off the ground but have managed to work Texas to Maine from here in
Michigan.
