Amateur Radio Newsline report number 1416 with a release date of
Friday, October 1, 2004 to follow in 5-4-3-2-1.

The following is a Q-S-T. Ham radio is ready as Hurricane Jeanne hit
Florida. Find out the details on Amateur Radio Newsline report
number 1416 coming your way right now.

RESCUE RADIO: HAM RADIO MEETS HURRICANE JEANNE

Hmmmmm...Not necessarilly a "policy" tem, however certainly of
interest specifically to Amateur Radio Operators.

Snip to...

THE BPL FIGHT: PERTH INTERFERENCE NOT BPL RELATED

BPL certainly is of interest and a hot "policy" topic in several
different forums, this one included.

Snip to...

THE BPL FIGHT: FCC TO RELEASE R&O ON BPL ROLLOUT

As I was saying...

Snip to...

THE BPL FIGHT: BPL COMES TO CENTRAL VIRGINIA

Yet another definite policy issue item.

Snip to...

THE INTERNET: US FALLING BEHIND IN BROADBAND ROLLOUT

Definetly a policy issue item. Directly related to AMATEUR
policy, since the methodology of deployment affects us...

Snip to...

CHANGING OF THE GUARD: STAN BURGHARDT, W0IT - S.K.

And snip to...

CHANGING OF THE GUARD: ROGER BAKER, G4IDE - S.K.

Sad news, indeed. Not policy, however of interest to Radio
Amateurs.

Snip to...

ENFORCEMENT: KEEP OFF 10 METERS

Do I even need to mention this one...?!?!

Snip to...

ENFORCEMENT: A DEAL A PIRATE COULD'T REFUSE

Or this?

RESCUE RADIO: FCC PARTICIPATES IN COUNCIL ON EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES

Emergency Services AND of general interest to Amateurs.

HAM RADIO ON THE INTERNET: BIG DATABASE UPGRADE AT QRZ.COM

More Amateur Radio-specific stuff. Not policy oriented, but
again, of specific interest to all Radio Amateurs.

Snip to...

THE SOCIAL SCENE: THE WSWSS VHF/UHF CONFERENCE IN CA IN OCT

Want to bet that they discuss issues of interest to Amateur Radio
policy at this convention? Think ANYone might be interested?

Snip to...

THE SOCIAL SCENE: OPRC HAMFEST IN AZ. IN OCTOBER

More fun stuff...

Snip to...

ARNEWSLINE(TM) SUPPORT FUND REPORT WITH N6TCQ

Audio report only: Hear it at
www.arnewsline.org

UH OH! THEY WANT MONEY, DIETER! SAVE US, DIETER, SAVE US ONE
AND ALL RIGHT NOW!

Snip to...

RADIO HERITAGE: NAVY TO CLOSE SUB COMM CENTERS

Certainly of interest to a great number of present day Amateurs
who cut thier radio teeth as RM's in the Navy.

Also of "policy" interest since these guys are going QRT, does
that preceed a possible introduction of Amateur activity to this part
of the spectrum?

Snip to...

HAM RADIO IN SPACE: ISS REPEATER ON AGAIN

There's some more of that confounded Amateur Radio stuff being
discussed in an Amateur Radio forum by Radio Amateurs...I can REALLY
SEE how Dieter get's so mad at them...

Snip to...

HAM RADIO IN SPACE: MIKE FINCKE ON THE AIR

STOP IT, BILL PASTERNAK! STOP DISCUSSING AMATEUR RADIO STUFF IN
AN AMATEUR RADIO FORUM...! ! ! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU ANYWAY...?!?!

That must be why you're constantly engaging in character assassination.

Now we understand.

I am sure there was a point to this, but I am not sure what it was.

My first impression is that of yet another anonymnous sling-and-run hit.

But you didn't trim any of the quoted post. Why burn the

Robert, the reason is that Dieter's quest is not to limit the "spam" on
NG's...It's to conduct a campaign against Bill Pasternak, period.

If Alexander P. Fuddlemeyer III started running ARN and posting here, it
would be a moot point...the catalyst of Dieter's hatred, Bill Pasternak, would
have been removed.

Dieter demands that ARN stop posting here despite the fact that the
content of those "releases" is 500% more relevent to Amateur Radio "policy"
than 99.999% of the other posts here.

I believe I clearly demonstrated that in the post that initiated this
thread.

Dieter does not "contest" those other posts. They are not posted by
WA6ITF.
