JUMP TEAM RADIO OPERATORS NEEDED - listen to 14.275, 3.977, and 3.890 MHz.

IARN, THE INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR RADIO NETWORK, IS STILL ACTIVATED

All health and welfare and emergency traffic, including Red Cross traffic,
is being routed to Live hf nets, when appropriate,
are beingheld on 3.975 and 14.272 MHz. with our usual hf bulletins on 3.977,
3.890, and 14.275 MHz. Advise IARN of your amateur radio emergency
communications traffic status by calling 1-800-262-9543. International
callers should telephone 207 495 2215. You can also use the IARN 24
hourAMTOR mail box on 14.127 MHz. lowerside band with sel call KMAN.
All routine check ins to our AMTOR mail box will receive a free AARA tee
shirt.
Please specifyyour preferred T shirt size and your current mailing address.

Over at the Gulf Shores Civic Center, there are at least four members
of the IRAN who are taking turns manning their jump team equipment
while they pass Red Cross and other traffic via vhf links to the main
team. I don't see any other radio operators around there.

If you want to see REAL emcom (Emergency Communications) going on check
out
the Satern net, Hurricane Watch net, State and area NTS (National
Traffic
System) network and ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) and RACES
and
MARS nets.

Those are fat old wannabees who sit at home where it's all comfy and
warm and pass traffic that doesn't make a damned bit of difference.
Unless operators are in the field, they are pretenders.


The IARN is a total and complete FARCE. I know of one person that
seriously
believes a thing Baxter says....oh correction I know of TWO
people....One

Give me the calls of those involved. I will check it out, and if you are
due a apology you will get one. If not then you know what will happen.

As for me saying hi to Kerry. It is more like I will say goodby to Kerry.
He is another example of the mindset of people like you. You know the
one...." Don't confuse me with the facts".

As for Vietnam......I guess I am. And a good thing I am too. Because I
KNOW KERRY is a FARCE, just like the IARN.
