I won't go into detail, but, the supporters of K1MAN might be bemoaning some upcoming enforcement issues regarding the ongoing fued between Glenn Baxter and Riley. I've got it on good authority that K1MAN will be receiving some future enforcement action. The reason I'm not posting the emails I've gotten from,my source, is that I'm respecting a statement that the emails are internal and not for the public. All I can say is "stay Tuned". I know that some people will not appreciate this posting, and I respect that as everyone, including the trolls on here, has a right to their support or opposition to K1MAN. I will ignore flames, though, so,k those that wish to do their imatition of a fire breathing dragon should save their breath and their time as I have zero interest in replying to a potential flame war. Besides...Baxter's license expires in a little less than a year and given his many letters from Riley over the years, it's a sure bet that there's a major regulatory hurdle that Baxter will have to clear up before he gets a renewal ticket. Pardon the pun, but it would be much more manly of Riley if he got Baxter off the air before Baxter's license expires. Revocation would send a much stronger message. ak |

Regardless, the FCC would have serious doubts about renewing K1MAN's license next October 14. All I know is that someone at FCC is working the case now. I got the impression that Baxter's reply to Riley only served to anger the guy. At the risk of sounding like a a**kisser here, Riley doesn't appear to the a man you want to tick off. There's too many instances of where he's went from friendly advisory tonotces, to multiple warming notices to the dreaded expensive NAL/FO and even a hearing notice for revocation. Riley's got a diffucult job and those that do break the rules only make things much more difficult. Riley seems to understand and let slide minor things like a very rare minor profanity, as long as the person making the minor goof doesn't make a habit out of it. He's got bigger fish to fry, to be honest and is a guy who is qsl a lot of times. What some people call ineffective and a paper tiger, I see differently. He's showing a lot of patience with people who break the rules and only goes after the major rule-breakers. Heck, K1MAN had actually gotten Riley off his back for a while by shutting down temporarily, but, when K1MAN started up again with the matginal rulebreaking, then, Riley had to resume the investigation. He's liked some of what he's seen and not others, as evidenced by recent letters. I, for one, am glad that Riely isn't taking an extreme hardline view here and he's reasonable as well, judging from some of the things I've seen. Several people that got into trouble with the guy fully cooperated with the matter being looked into and if the person admitted their fault to Riley's satisfaction, the matter was dropped in a fair manner. Those that drew his ire with willful and continued violations of the rules deserved their fines, IMHO. Riley isn't Saddam, Castro or any other dictator who punished for the slightest violation, yet, some people wither want a Stalin type response or they blast the man for being too soft. Heck, if I had the equipment and the right ticket, you'd hear me talking to the guy as a friend, as we are all supposed to be in this hobby, correct?
