Question on AutoPatch

When using an autopatch you are basically allowing someone who is
unlicensed onto the repeater. What responsiblity does the user of the
radio serve? And is there anything keeping an autopatch from allowing
someone to call INTO it and reach someone on amateur radio (aside from
configuration at the repeater site?).

Now, what if someone unlicesed uses an autopatch to call a licensed ham
who IDs?

I'm just curious here as I'm new to the hobby.

For that matter.. what happens if someone puts me on hold and music
starts spewing out of the repeater?

Yes

The licensed ham is the control operator -- fully responsible

Yes they must be a licensed ham operator just to transmit. And must have the
autopatch codes which are only given to members

Now, what if someone unlicesed uses an autopatch to call a licensed ham
who IDs?

Illegal operation

The licensed Ham - the control operator must immediately shut down the patch
and give their Amateur radio call sign
