Bill, any chance you could take a close-up of the hand strap? Mine, like

It's a piece of leatherette made into a handle. Later personal portables

So, by "leatherette" you mean some form of plastic, I presume?

It's kind of a vinyl covered cloth, wrapped around the two loops, then sewn
