Yup. GE bought RCA (and NBC) some years back. (I assume this is a "recent"
badge.)

It's interesting to note that RCA was originally owned by GE and
Westinghouse. I think the government broke them up at some point.

Some years after the government originally put them together.


As I worked for the British company Electric and Musical Industries, on
the site in Hayes, Middlesex, where they used to make the cabinets for
the acoustic wind-up gramophones, to me, the 'Dog and Trumpet' will
always be HMV.

I know that, but it just doesn't look right to see it on the Nipper
logo. :(
