One year the idiot boss was bragging that only top managers would be
getting a Christmas bonus. To rub it in, he opened the air mail pouch in
front of the whole office. To pay envelopes fell out he grabbed the
first one, put it down and opened the second. The look on his face told
us he wasn't happy. He got a $50 check. He tossed me the other
envelope and said, If they only gave me $50 your check must only be
five, since you aren't in management. I opened mine and said, You're
right. A huge smile spread across his face, then I said, A whole $500
dollars. He grabbed it to see for himself, then rushed into his office
and slammed the door. The light to his private phone line went on, and
you could hear muffled shouting. :)
