I am not able to download it. When I go to the site, and click the download
button, it brings up an advertisement, and that's as far as it goes. Hit
backspace to try again, same thing. Third try, got a notification that I had
used up my free downloads.. yeah... right..

That's the problem. The timer never comes up. It just goes to another page
with an ad on it. Nothing else.

Dont know what you did, but I downloaded it fine,
although a bit slow and nagging.

I noticed from your message header that you're using "Thunderbird
2.0.0.23 (Windows/20090812)". That program doesn't support multi-part
messages as far as I know.
Most newsgroup providers have a file size limitation on a single
message so it must be split up. This file size is 10.1 mb

Maybe the OP can put it on a web site... I see only one of the 39
parts as available on the server I use.
