They are free to join. They ask for a donation to get the files to
upload to the popular trunked scanners. But the databases are free.
To join it is only $2.50 a month. Very cheap considering you may spend
that much daily at 7-11 for a cup of coffee in the morning and a
big-gulp later in the day.

has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't
enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a
crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws."

Cityfreq is worthless, full of inaccuracies, misspellings, etc.
Radioreference is the best.

You can use:

http://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws....nmen/index.hts

http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports/index.cfm

I prefer the first one, runs better and cleaner in my opinion.

You can also use the ULS system, from:
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsS...rchLicense.jsp

The advanced search has way to drill down some more on the results.

Free to join the forums, free to access the database - which IS what
the OP asked for - frequencies.

Not free to run an ARC program and automatically download the data.
But, then, neither is the ARC program.
