Hey gray-beard!

Show me where a Sony SC1 is "easily modded" for all bands? Do you
even own one? Plus, the PRO-26 came out in 1995. If my math is correct, that
makes it 11 years old, NOT 20 years old

So, now who is out of their mind????

Of course it is modifiable. Cut one trace and add one jumper and it's
done. Yes I have one. AM and Wide and Narrow FM all the way from 5-kHz
to 1300-MHZ. 5-12.5-50 &100 kHz step sizes.
Now why would anyone trade one of these for a limited Pro-26
There is no comparison

So what if it is modifiable? There is nothing to hear in the cellular band
nowadays. Are you still living in the 1980's? Take away that, and they are
about the same. And what about the fact that it's NOT 20 years old like you
said? Do your homework next time!

I could care less if nobody wants to trade. I already have a PRO-43 and
BC780XLT.
