There is a seller (not an auction) on eBay that has several ICOM PCR-100's
at $50.00/ea.! It is the radio minus the 12V AC adapter, software, and
serial cable. However the software is free on the web, the other items are
inexpensive, and easily obtainable. This is a heck of a deal! He has sold
tons of these with 100% positive feedback. I bought two myself.

Thanks Bill -- much better than the last few rounds at $75 and $95. Makes
me curious though -- any speculation on where these are being pulled from?
There must have been a few hundred in the past few weeks. Who is out there
listening to what [and why did they stop] ????

They were mounted in 19" rack units. Eight radios per unit. They had one
common power supply per unit for all eight radios. They were used to
monitor AM/FM broadcast stations, and record commercials for paid commercial
time verification. He attempted to sell some of the assembled rack mount
units starting at $350.00, but was not very successful. As soon as he
parted them out, they began to sell. Several members on Radio Reference
purchased 1, 2, or more. He ships via U.S. Priority Mail for only $5.00.

You will need a 12VDC 1000ma (1amp) AC adapter. A standard DB9 RS232 serial
cable. As for software, there is the original ICOM PCR-100 software
available on the web, TalkPCR, TrunkPCR, SpectrumGM, PCRScope, and possibly
others.

Performance is par with Icom's big brother, the PCR-1000, minus SSB mode.
The PCR-100 has stereo FM output as well, where the PCR-1000 does not.
