Any opinions on BC 95 XLT as a first scanner
 

Hunting around for my Very First Scanner, I found this:

and there are always Coast Guard Boats & Police Helicopters circling
round..

- And I'd like to find out why.

( - I am very Boring, so theres no " Ruby Ridge / WACO " Mileage
here )

would this BC 95 XLT, which is accessible to a PC , be worthwhile?
