how & where can i add an s meter to a bc - 145 XL ??

i have the service manual with schematic .

Why would you want to? It's only a estimated reading of the actual signal anyway. You'd be better off buying a newer scanner with that feature.

the 145XL is a fun thing .

i am kind of playing around with it .

i have a pre-amp hooked up to it .

i am curios about the amp factor .
