Most climbers I know take the end of a line with them, then attach a pulley where they'll be working, then they send the end of the rope back down. Then the ground crew can send up tools, parts, whatever, and you don't have to worry about not forgetting anything but the rope and the pulley. Maybe he works alone... how much does 1700' of line weigh? |
