mentioned antennas (or towers?) no higher than 1 INCH above a
residence. Did I hear that correctly? no. the palmdale law is
antennas no higher than one inch over the roofline of ANY structure
including your vehicle and handheld portable. Did anybody also
happen to catch the brief mention in the interview that violators
could face confiscation of their ham equipment? yes. palmdale has
claimed they can take away your ham equipment if yourr antenna on your
ht is over one inch higher than the top of your ht and your vehicle
ham equipment if the antenna iss over one inch higher than your car
roof. not nonly homes. the waY THE Antenna law is worded, they can do
the same to your cb equipment, though they never actually mentioned cb
like they did with ham radio.IMHO, excellent lawsuit material on
top of everything else! one of palmdales claims is the reif
higher up.ason they are regulating the size of antennas is for health
reasons to protect the health of their residents against extreme rf
radiation.. the larger the antenna the unhealthier it is, the smaller
the antenna, the healthier it is, its the size of the antenna that
determines how much rf is radiated, not the amount of power the radio
operators are pumping through it. palmdale lawmakers are idiots. I
guess according to their laws, this means it is okay and perfectly
healthy to their citizens to transmit at a full oe thousand five
hundred watts as long as the antenna is less than one inch in size and
less than one inch higher than the roof of your home or vehicle , and
therefore closer to all of their residents than if t was higher up at
your home.

The tale the FCC explains is that Radioguy is transmitting from a very low
powered and extremely short rubber dickie.
His trolls are best left ignored.
