Mobile-phone hang-ups!
 

Hello all,

I saw this device on television "someone and someone go Tokyo" or
something it was called. And on there they showed this device which
you could litrally sitting opposite someone, hang-up their Mobile
Phone, if you got annoyed with them!

I checked around the internet and found this:

This seems like what I'm looking for, but I can't find a place where I
can buy this... Does anyone know a site or have any other info on
this?

Try a japanese mail order site. The device you want is not legal here in
the US - it's not FCC type accepted and, because it
interferes with other devices, would never get type acceptance. So that
might be why you can't find them. They're barely legal in
Japan, and as soon as someone dies because their phone didn't work, you
can bet that will change.

Scary stuff really when you think about it. Imagine, being able to rob
anyone with impunity, knowing that they can't dial 911 for
help until you're long gone... yikes. I'm sure such a device could be
created to hinder police radios and tracking devices (bag
beepers, bumper beepers, etc) just as easily.

Keep in mind the cell phone band in Japan is in the 900 MHz range.

was soo tiny and slim, you could hide it in your hand and no-one would
even know you had something in your hand :o

Hmm, maybe those ones are only available in Japan!! They are like 6
billion years ahead of us!

Anyone know if these jammers work in the UK? (I know the global gadget
one does!)
