WNEM-TV scanner story
I just posted the following message to regarding the
news story on the WNEM-TV web site (www.wnem.com) about kids using scanners in home break-ins: -=-=-=-=-=- I just watched your news segment about how some kids managed to stay one step ahead of the law by using a scanner. Unfortunately, this is one of many such cases where scanner enthusiasts and other radio hobbyists are given a black eye. Nobody seems to want to cover the stories where "scannists" have done GOOD things via their radios. If you're interested, I'll go back in my files a few months and provide you with some balance to your reporting. (And I noticed that nobody mentioned the fact that YOU, dear reporters, are using scanners YOURSELVES to get the jump on good stories!) -- //Steve// Steve Silverwood Amateur Radio Operator KB6OJS Fountain Valley, CA Email: -=-=-=-=-=- Any bets on whether or not they even bother to reply? //Steve// |
That will be the last we see of that letter.
However I applaud you for writing and sending it. If enough people like you would write then maybe you would get a reply. James "Steve Silverwood" wrote in message k.net...
