It's called a 'slick' because it does not carry armament for attack
purposes. Usually just a machine gun manned by the crew chief is the only
weapon carried.

slicks. I rode a lot in Hues with guys riding the rails, or the Hughes

George AFB is a civilian parking lot for unused airliners, March only
has a air reserve wing!!! and, MCAR Miramar is closed but they are
talking about basing a chopper wing there!!!
