Any 780 Users: "Channel Activity Indicators" Not Appearing: Why ?
 

Hello:

Have a new 780. New to scanning hobby.

(using the Butel software to load freq's., etc. into radio)

Can't seem to get the "Channel Activity Indicators" to show up on the
radio's display, no matter what mode, etc., I am in.

Funny, as when I played with the radio when I first received it,
about two weeks ago, they did appear.

What might I be misssing, or doing wrong ?

Also, assuming I can ever get them back, might someone explain to me,
please, what information they convey, and how to interpret what's shown
(such as the small black bars, etc.)

Manual not all that clear on this.
