Search and Rescue: Southern California, La Paz Mexico
 

I heard an aircraft check in with Beaver Control on 120.85 at 2003-10-24
T1310Z (2003-10-24 T0630 PST) and report an IFR clearance to La Paz Mexico
for search and rescue operations. I didn't completely catch the aircraft's
callsign, something like "Rescue 1700".

I have no idea what the search is for and I don't know what other frequencies
are being used, nor will I be pursuing this further. I pass it on in case
someone does wish to pursue it.
