The PRO-90 is as good as any other Police scanner that will cover
the 108 to 136 Mhz AM air band. It has the air band pre-programmed into it's SERVICE SEARCH feature. I us the PRO-90 for 800 Mhz trunk tracking! It will only work one ( 1 ) 800 Mhz Motorola trunking system at a time. The PRO-90 dose not do VHF, 900 Mhz and EDASC also it will noit do conventional at the same time, that its trunk tracking the one 800 Mhz system! It dose not have independent mode so you can't do AM in the 138 to 144 Military air band where the US Air Force Thunderbirds jet air demonstration team hangs out, during air shows! The going price for a PRO-90 used is $75 to $100. Check this site for more information: http://www.strongsignals.net/ Jim "J.A.G" wrote: Any good for airband? |
