I plan to buy my brother (who lives in Austin, TX) a scanner for Xmas.
Does anyone know whether trunk-tracking and APCO-25 are needed for law enforcement/fire/EMS scanning in Austin. I found frequency info on the web (http://members.tripod.com/octane_plus) but I don't know how old this info is. I seem to remember a passing reference that Austin went digital. |
