I've just moved into Florida from Hawai'i ... And yes I'm still wondering
why I did it, but we're not here to discuss my sanity! :-)

I will be migrating up to a Uniden 296 or the 796 if I can figure out a way
to put it in my car.

So my trusty 245xlt along with all the boxes, manuals, and cables is up for
sale. I'll also include a NiMH battery pack that has proven to give me
about 12 - 14 hours of listening and it comes with the Uniden leather case.
It's been in the case since day one, so there's very little marking on the
body, although the screen shows normal wear and tear.

Grove has these for $199.00 in the box, so with the extras, if I can get
$170.00 plus the shipping and insurance, I can have it on your doorstep by

And I also have a charger and battery pack for a BC 200xlt that's been

responses in the context of the original message, before you post it.

So, if you were looking for a 245, and this deal popped up, what would you
two "experts" pay! Burr ... JER1538A, let's see where your brain is ...

My guess is that if you were the seller it would be right about where I have
priced it. But, if you were looking to buy, it would be around $100 less
than that. How close am I?

You know what's nice about internet shopping and selling? I simply say,
"Sorry guys the store doesn't want your business", then I get to smile and
move on!
