Remote Head for Scanner

I can't believe that in this day and age there are no scanners that
have a remote head feature for mobile installation. I know that
scannermaster has been working on a remote head project for the 780,
but you would think that Uniden would just throw together a remote
head package for some high end scanners.

Anyone have any links or information on this topic ???
