Uniden BC700A Scanner

I just bought a Uniden BC700A off of ebay, I was wondering is this a
pre-ban scanner. The lady i bought it from said it picks up celluar
phone calls. Does anyone know about this??????????

I have one and the cell phone frequencies are blocked. However, it does
pick up cellular images from around 870-925 MHZ.
