These compact (3.4" high x 2.1" wide x 1.2" deep) FRS radios have many
features such as high power output for EXCELLENT RANGE (500 mW) and 38
CTCSS Privacy Codes... but what makes these the ultimate radios are
the EXTRA 85 CHANNELS !

Imagine... being at your favorite ballpark, amusement park, luxury
cruise liner, skiing, talking car-to-car, at the mall... any where
people are using FRS radios. The interference is terrible, people can
overhear you talking, and your range is limited.

Now imagine... that same situation using these Limited Edition Drake
FRS radios... you press the "Channel UP" key and it keeps going and
going and going... all the way to channel 99 ! Of course, you will
want to be sure the frequency is clear of any business or police which
share that band (extended frequencies shown below). These extra
frequencies are for "export use only". I am not responsible for how
you use these radios.

To change from US mode to Export Mode, just hold down the Function and
PTT buttons, and turn unit on. To put back into 14 channel USA mode,
do the same and it will toggle back.

Recently I was at professional baseball game, over 35,000 people in
attendance. We have an extra pair of these radios, and I provided one
to my wife and one to my son. Channels 1-14 were useless, they were
totally filled with conversations. I simply tuned to channel 15 (just
one up from the normal FRS frequency)... and WOW, it was COMPLETELY
quiet. Perfect communications. Apparently none of the other 35,000
people had these radios... what are the chances anyone else would ?

Why would ebay remove it if it was made that way?
The item is not breaking the TOS with EBay, or did you think that the item
he is selling was opened up due to a MOD.
Should EBay remove the ICOM T90A's also for being able to TX in those given
Freqs and also many, many other Freqs?

Making a report to EBay for this item would be the lamest thing anyone
could do.

FRS radios are "type accepted". Ham Radios are not.

They'd remove it for the same reason they remove an unmodified RCI-2950. The
radio would most likely be in violation of their posting guidelines since it
isn't approved for use in the US.
