![]() "Zombie Wolf" wrote in message ... Date: Tue, 20 Apr 2004 20:12:55 -0400 You know, this "Health Hazard" bit is getting old. BPL, if implemented, would be limited to the restrictions of part 15. This means no output power levels in excess of 100 milliwatts. You get way more than that every time you press your cell phone to the side of your head and press the talk button ...... Now, if you think your cell phone is safe and will not cause cancer, why is it that you keep insisting that a power line even 30 feet away is going to cause it ? Actually I did listen and record that show. And it isn't the radiation hazard that has me alarmed. It's the idea that all frequencies 80Mhz and below would become totally useless. Thus many things like commercial broadcast AM, shortwave, some aircraft navigation, radio control aircraft, some emergency services, etc. would be all gone. Cheers! ______________________________________________ Bill (using a Toshiba 2595XDVD & Windows 2000) -- written and edited within Word 2000 |
