I installed the free software that came with the
scanner and when I click databases [I don't have a
database of my own installed, just using the
sample one I guess] I get:

RUNTIME ERROR 339
Component FLP32A30.ocx or one of its dependencies
not correctly registered. A file is missing or
invalid.

The software is called e-scanner .. I went to the
website and downloaded from there the same
software, figuring it is maybe more up-to-date ..
same error.

You May want to look into buying ARC250PRO software for the scanner, I use
it with my bc250d and it works great
http://www.butel.nl/ all the people I received the e-scanner software for
free when I got my scanner anddumped it into the garbage can.

As a matter of fact, I bought that yesterday. I
didn't buy the pro, because I didn't notice much
of a difference. I see I upgrade if I want to.
The "Free" program, did look like junk.
