Only one local PD is trunking & it is in the 857.000 range. The pawn shop
wants $275 but I have seen them go for as low as $80. I would like a scanner that will cover nearly everything from 25-1300. I heard the Uniden BC350-C is a good one for that. Any suggestions? "Dwayne" wrote in message .net... In article k.net, says... There is a pawn shop locally that has a PRO-2035 by Radio Shack. Excellent shape, tons of bands & 1000 channel memory. Anyone here have one & would you suggest buying one? What is an average used price? Can you suggest any other radios that have the most frequencies for the cheapest price? Looking for a home unit base. No handheld, but maybe mobile. Thanks! Walrus This is all going to depend on if your local PD and FD are on a trunking system or not. If they are then pass on the 2035. BTW how much are they asking for it? -- ----------- Dwayne http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BC895/ |
