Lost scanner

I left my scanner in the bathroom at the local Wendys. When I returned to
get it, I found a customer playing with it (the scanner) while he ate his
hamburger.

I told him it was my scanner and he asked me to prove it.

I told him a lot of the frequencies in there.
I told him I could pick up cordless phone freqeuencies, like the ones at
Wendys..

Well he tried that and the Wendys employees called the police.
The police took away my radio. I have rights!

I have a lawyer. What can I do?

Tell the police that leaving the battery connected will drain it so much the
memories will be lost. With a bit of luck they'll take the battery pack off
and by the time it gets to court the memories will be lost and there will be
no evidence to prosecute you.

Do you have a gun that you haven't lost yet? Take it and shoot yourself,
maybe your mom also!

The public has the right to expect their phone conversations aren't
being monitored .

I have a lawyer.

I hope he graduated near the bottom of his class.

What can I do?

Do the crime then do the time.

Not up to your usual standards, Emilio. I'm sending this one back for a

Very easily... Here's an example...

Well, ask your "lawyer", not us! Surely he would know more about law than
we do. Not in -this- case however.

My advise? Never approach a man playing with it in a bathroom, while
eating a hamburger.

I was really kidding, I would never advocate violence against anyone, well
except if you are endangering me or
my family, then you are going to meet the advocater of violence!

Ask your lawyer! That's what lawyers are for ya know! (well they have a few
other uses too actually, but I'll not go into that here...:-)

And next time, be more careful with your scanner and don't leave it laying
around!
