albuq. freq. help

hi i'm new to scanning i got a uniden bc60xlt-1 . i'm unable to pick up apd
east side freq. some say i need a new radio can i have some help with this

According to RadioReference, Alburquerque uses an EDACS pro voice
system, and only a few talkgroups are analog. No scanner made today
handles pro voice; but for those few analog talkgroups, a scanner like
the BC245 or PRO92 would likely work.
