I have a 8200 MKII it was made to charge Ni-Cad batteries, question is can I
charge Nimh batteries? I thought I read somewhere maybe here that if I charge Nimh it would over heat and warp the case or something. I would be charging 2000 + mah batteries. Thanks |

I have been using 2100 maHr batteries im an 8200 MkII for over 2 years
with no problems. I usually let the batteries run down, then charge overnight. I make sure the unit is sitting upright to give maximum possible cooling to the battery case. Ok thanks Walt I will plug it in this evening and check it once in a while
to see if it is getting "Hot". I have never used the wall wart that came with it. I I'll give it a try but I will keep a close eye on it !! "Walt Bertram" wrote in message ...
