yeah ya can
but if the radio has an esn which all trunked, and most other radios do it
could get interesting if you buy a radio off the internet.

Well, it won't transmit up the 800Mhz range but works just fine apparently
in the VHF and lower portion of UHF....... Not ALL areas are trunked.
