VHF low-band: 30 - 50 MHz search in 20 KHz steps (0.0200 MHz)

Civilian Aviation: 118 - 136 MHz search in 25 KHz steps (0.0250 MHz)

VHF High-band: 150 - 174 MHz search in 7.5 KHz steps (0.0075 MHz)

Marine VHF: 156 - 157 MHz search in 25 KHz steps (0.0250 MHz)

220 Mhz band: 220 - 222 MHz search in 5 KHz steps (0.005 MHz)

UHF: 450 - 470 MHz search in 6.25 Khz steps (0.00625 MHz)

UHF-T band: 470 - 512 Mhz search in 6.25 Khz steps (0.00625 MHz)

700 MHz Band 764 - 776 MHz search in 6.25 Khz steps (0.00625 MHz)

800 MHZ band 851 - 869 MHz search in 25 KHz steps (0.0250 MHz)

There are always exceptions and oddball frequencies.
aaditions and corrections are welcome.

Nice job!

Add:
Military Aviation UHF-AM: 225-400 MHz search in 25 or 50 KHz steps for
efficiency, but realize that 5 KHz is becoming more common, and 12.5 KHz is
also used (same as Civil Air). Europe has gone to smaller spacing (7.5 or
8.? KHz?) and we will eventually see that in the States as well.

There is also no need to "search" Marine-VHF -just use the internationally
agreed channels. By 2006-2008 time frame, Marine will require narrow-band
and smaller spacing to allow more service.
