Received my new BC898-T scanner today!
Thanks Bill. I will be very appreciative of what you can tell me.

This weekend, I'll check out the amateur radio bands, commercial, and military aircraft, etc. I live within listening distance of Selfridge Air Base, in SE Michigan, so it will be a good test. Bill Crocker "Troy R." wrote in message ... Do you have a 895 to compare it with? I am interested in either an 895 or 898 for airband monitoring. Any body compared them yet? "Bill Crocker" wrote in message ... I received my new Uniden BC898-T scanner today, from Universal Radio. It is very similar to the BC895-XLT, as many have said. However, there are definitely enough changes, and/or improvements, to serious consider this scanner. Although it is lacking the ability to receive digital, other than that, I'd say it's one of the best! Bill Crocker |
Should us 780 owners begin trading in our radios for the 898?
