I need a cord for a BCIII or the pin out for same or does anyone
know where to get the plug it self

The plug is a Cinch S-304-CCT, available at electronic distributors like
Mouser and DigiKey. A service manual for the BC-III can be found at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/awh2/files/ after you join the Yahoo group
AWH2. Pin connections for the power cord are shown in the schematic. You can
buy a ready made power cord at
http://www.kenselectronics.com/lists/pwrcord.htm. Scroll down to the bottom
of the page to find the old scanner power cord CJ-4P-AC.
