Not all 2006 are 2006 models, many early ones had left over 2005 parts
in them, I think Bill tells in one of his books how to tell.

We also found out when installing the CE/HB-232 interface and Pro-Turbo
software that some 2006 scanners would not work properly with the 2006
settings file, but would perform perfectly with the 2005 settings file,
turns out that all the ones that needed 2005 settings files where the
early 2006's with 2005 parts in them.
