Unblocked Trunking Scanner
Is anyone familiar with the Uniden UBC-3300XLT unblocked trunking
scanner? It is touted as being able to trunktrack EDACS, Motorola, and Johnson systems & is APCO project 25 digital capable. Freqs are 25-512, 806-960, and 1240-1300 Mhz. Could such a receiver be able to trunktrack mobile phones as well as public service comms? TIA! lynn |

It does and is. Freqs are 25-512, 806-960, and 1240-1300 Mhz. Could such a receiver be able to trunktrack mobile phones as well as public service comms? No, thats not possible. -- Cheers, JC Javiation - Scanners & receivers from all the leading manufacturers http://www.javiation.co.uk |
Could such a receiver be able to trunktrack mobile phones as well as
public service comms? No. Trunked radio systems work in a different way than cell phone systems. Also, most cell phones use a digital signal that scanners are unable to decode. |
