New PRO-95
 

Hi,

Just bought new one using the $50 coupon available on the internet.

Looking for advice & opinions on best software to work with the RS PRO-95
scanner.

Also what package to get frequencies for local area, rural South Carolina.

For software go to www.starrsoft.com and get win98 (works for me) and the cable
can be found at www.balckbagsoftware.com.

I don't think Radio Shack caries either the cable of software anymore.....

www.starrsoft.com is free software. Can't help you on a frequency
package however.

Just go to the Radio Shack site, look up the PRO 95 page and print out the
coupon.

For South Carolina information, I would definitely register with
RadioReference as a previous poster suggested, and get on the South
Carolina forum. I'd also look at:

I'd also look at the Yahoo groups listed in kc4oxt's 'links' section.
You might turn up more info there, too.
