I have in an estate two new in box AOR 2700s which were to be used to build
a two receiver "time of arrival" Direction finder as described by Joseph
moell in "Transmitter Hunting"

In addition the deceased P.I. had a Optioelectronics Scout and had the
additional plug to allow auto tuning the radios

The radios have scan cat and another computer control software aith the
connection attachments and cords.

To get good reception he got the FM notch filter,400 and 800Mhz high pass
filters and a variable 1-20 db received signal amp.

Everybody wants to buy just one radio with the amp, Scout and filters. If
anyone wants to buy the whole package and build the Direction Finder, I
have a nice O-scope I used in school which would first match up the two
incoming signals so you know your two antennas are parallel to the "front"
of the signal and then display the results graphically.

I would like to see someone build the time of arrival DF but I would sell
them seperately if I have to. The radios were ordered just before the
frequency ban took effect and stored until now.

Old technology. No one goes to the trouble any more - when there are
better and easier methods (using a single receiver).
