Scantenna question

Interested in purchasing this antenna as a xmas gift for myself.

?????

What is the optimim height that the antenna should be raised to. What about
grounding. Best way to bring coax cable thru the window.

I have mine at a 100 ft
1ga wire to ten foot rod
drill a hole
