RT Systems CT-29A plug?
Anyone know how tip, ring and sleeve are set up on the 3.5mm stereo
plug of this RS-232 level converter? Ken (to reply via email remove "zz" from address) |

The attached picture was taken from: http://www.qsl.net/kc8unj/index.html It is the pinout for an R2 programming cable. refer to the above site for software and building your own cable. Thank you. This is confirmed by an email I just received from RT Systems that Ring=data and Sleeve=ground. Now I am wondering if this single data lead (half duplex?) can be used for radios with separate data-in and data-out leads, like the Kenwood TH-F6A. The simplest approach would be to put the same data signal on the data-in and the data-out. Ken (to reply via email remove "zz" from address) |
